Calculate travel time isochrones

Select a travel time and click on a workplace zone. The map will show you how far away you could start and get to that point by different modes of transport.

Isochrones are calculated using Open Trip Planner using the OTP4GB repository. Further outputs and documentation will be on the Open Journey Time repository.

This is not a finished product. Travel times are not guaranteed to be accurate and may be missing for many locations and durations. The UI is not very good for browsing. We are working on these problems and are not looking for bug reports or suggesitons at this time.

We currently have plans to expand the tool to Wales. We may also expand the tool to the West Midlands. We currently do not have the budget to expand to the rest of England or to Northern Ireland.
